Position: Kitchen Staff

QUALIFICATIONS
1. At least 14 years of age.
2. Desire to work in the food service area.
3. Ability to read menus, weights and measures.
4. Ability to follow directions.
5. Required to attend camp for eight weeks of the camp season. Eligible to receive a salary.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Food Service Director

GENERAL (BROAD) RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist the Head Cook in preparing all lunch and snacks.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in any area of dining room or kitchen as requested by Food Service Director.
2. Assist in preparing foods by performing any combination of the following:

a. Vegetables washed, peeled, etc.
b. Prepare poultry and meats.
c. Prepare breads, carry pots, and store food.
d. Stir and strain soups and vegetables.
e. Weight and measure foods.
f. Clean utensils and area.
3. Assist in the preparation and cleaning of Dining Room and kitchen facilities on a daily basis.
4. These are not the only duties performed. Some duties may be re-assigned and other duties may be assigned as required.
